The ILTE has a vast array of resources available to our faculty including books, journals, newsletters, and periodicals on teaching and academic computing. Books and journals may be checked out, but copies must be made of any desired newsletter or periodical article. The maximum checkout period for our books and journals is 4 weeks, however, special arrangements for extended checkout can be made through our office.

Journal on Excellence in College Teaching (JECT) |
The Journal on Excellence in College Teaching (ISSN 1052-4800) is a peer-reviewed journal published at Miami University by and for faculty at universities and two- and four-year colleges to increase student learning through effective teaching, interest in and enthusiasm for the profession of teaching, and communication among faculty about their classroom experiences. It answers Ernest Boyer's (1990) call for a forum to present the scholarship of teaching and learning. The Journal provides a scholarly, written forum for discussion by faculty about all areas affecting teaching and learning, and gives faculty the opportunity to share proven, innovative pedagogies and thoughtful, inspirational insights about teaching. Audio Conferences |
The ILTE hosts audio conferences presented by MAGNA publications throughout the year. We purchase the cds and accompanying materials and have them available for checkout in the ILTE library.
