How Can We Help You Today?
The ILTE is the "teaching learning center" at IU Southeast. We are a resource designed to assist faculty with advancing and enhancing their teaching and learning. All faculty working on teaching related projects may utilize the resources of the ILTE.
ILTE uses a multi-faceted approach that will:
- provide opportunities to pursue professional development and improvement of teaching by offering a variety of workshops and symposia and fostering a culture of collegiality and excitement about teaching/learning excellence on campus;
- help faculty take advantage of rapidly changing technology, such as digital imaging, Oncourse (Indiana University's online course management tool) and electronic searches to facilitate effective student learning;
- integrate associate faculty into the professional development opportunities;
- assist faculty in developing effective strategies for selecting learning objectives, establishing effective course activities and assignments, and assessing student outcomes.
