Grade Submission Online
IU Southeast faculty have two options for submitting final grades-- OneStart and Oncourse. While the information found here pertains primarily to Oncourse, segments will be marked accordingly.

What to do if...
I can't remember my username or password?
The best way to have you password reset is to visit the IT HelpDesk (Crestview 038) with a Photo ID. You may also visit one of the staffed computer labs (Crestview 112; Knobview 207; Library Registration area) or the ILTE (LB 219) with a photo ID.
Users who are not able to come to campus should call the IT HelpDesk at 812.941.2447. Be ready to provide the consultant on duty your username, birth date, social security number, and course section numbers. If the consultant is unable to verify identity s/he will not reset a password.
Act now! Make sure you can login to Oncourse or OneStart and avoid waiting until the last minute to have your password reset.
I can login to Oncourse, but I do not see the Official Final Grades gradebook?
You are probably not listed officially as the faculty of record for your class. Contact the Office of the Registrar at 812.941.2535 or stop by their office (LB 100) and make sure you are listed as the Faculty of Record for that class. You may also contact the ILTE (812.941.2506 or LB 219) and we will work with you and the Registrar to make sure you are listed correctly in your courses.
In Oncourse, the Official Final Grades gradebook will not appear in classes until December 2. On or after December 2, access your Official Final Grades gradebook by logging into Oncourse, clicking on the class link and then clicking on the Tools tab and the Online Gradebooks link. This gradebook will be visible to only the faculty of record-- students will NOT see the gradebook listed.
I have a student in the Purdue Program in my class?
Purdue students will automatically be assigned "ZZ" grades. The Office of the Registrar will distribute Purdue grade rosters-- which are paper. These grade rosters should be taken to the Office of the Registrar.
I want to have help submitting grades?
During the grade submission window (December 6th-14th at noon) staff from the ILTE and the Office of the Registrar will be in Library Building (LB) 105. Every hour on the hour, a demonstration will be done on how to submit grades via Oncourse. One-on-one assistance will be provided in between presentation. Registrar staff will assist faculty wishing to use OneStart to submit their final grade and ILTE staff will assist faculty wishing to use Oncourse.
On December 8, 9 (Wednesday and Thursday) and 13 (Monday) the Library Building (LB) 105 lab will be staffed until 7:00 p.m.
Important Note: Grades submitted via Oncourse will be posted to SIS every night at 9:00 p.m.; therefore, all final grades will not be "visible" in OneStart to you or the student until the next day.
