The mission of the Institute for Learning and Teaching Excellence is threefold:

• to place student learning, intellectual persistence and attainment at the center of the University's mission;
• to support the improvement of teaching and related service, research and creative work; and
• to encourage and support excellence in learning through the refinement of new technologies and pedagogies.
